Meet Simone

Simone's passion for sharing unique, infectious grooves across genres has remained unwavering throughout nearly three decades behind the decks. These days, she’s selective about where she plays, choosing intimate spaces with those who truly connect with her musical vibe—whether in nature, at special gatherings, or through spontaneous live streams on her social channels.
Those who experience her all-vinyl sets (or digital on the rare occasion) are taken on a soul-stirring journey through true underground sounds. Her sets seamlessly blend 90s inspired house, 2000s style deep house, and the depth, fun, and elegance of deep tech, minimal tech, and micro house, effortlessly sliding into the raw energy of minimal techno and classic Detroit sounds.
The duo collaborated with the late producer King Roc (aka Martin Dawson) to produce two tracks, Micolux and The Whip. Simone also teamed up with her partner, Giulio Cavallo, to create the track Can U Feel The Love for their Cosmic Games event and festival in Ibiza.
As manager of Kog Transmissions record label's London office from 2000-2003, she promoted New Zealand artists across house, drum & bass, minimal, dub, and hip-hop genres, attending conferences, producing showcases and truly learning the music industry.
Simone launched her own event in 2006: Kitchen Party. Held in her North London home, the house party was streamed online with an eco-conscious theme and fully sponsored. Some highlights from the event are still available on Vimeo.
From 2012 to 2020, Simone made Ibiza her home, playing at private villa parties, fashion and art events, as well as venues like Underground club, Pikes Hotel and Elements Beach Bar in Benirras. She also participated in industry panels and hosted Cosmic Games parties and festivals, along with several after parties, including those for Sven Väth's Cocoon and Richie Hawtin's Enter (complete with a funny story).
In 2020, Simone found herself unexpectedly grounded on Great Barrier Island, New Zealand, during Covid. Since then, she and Giulio have made it their home. Together, they curated a year-long radio show, 'Journey Into Electronic Sound', exploring the history of electronic music. This later inspired the creation of 'It's A Day Party Thing'—a series of beachside events featuring extended sets with a single guest DJ."
The last five years have also been a journey of deep introspection, healing and growth --- making it rare for Simone to leave the island. She carefully chose only special performances at festivals like Shipwrecked and Earthbeat, as well as iconic clubs such as Auckland's Ink Bar and Silent Studios.
However, 2025 marks a year of transformation as she and Giulio finally return to their spiritual home of Ibiza this summer. Celebrating nearly three decades behind the decks and 50 years of Earthly living, she’ll mark the occasion with Waking Life and Glastonbury Festivals.

Throughout the 2000s, Simone graced the London underground scene with performances at legendary spots like Fabric, Pacha, The Egg, AKA Bar, Plastic People, 333, and Sosho’s Retox. She then transitioned into the festival circuit with sets at Bestival and Snowbombing in Austria. In 2005/6, she toured the world with Brian Monaco as Sweet*Vicious (aka Sweet Mayhem), spinning their signature vibes in cities like New York, Costa Rica, New Zealand, and Japan as a live DJ duo.
Simone developed her unique vibe and honed her vinyl skills in late 90s London, earning recognition as Jockey Slut's Upcoming DJ of the Month in the early 2000s. She held residencies at iconic venues such as Ignition @ Inigo, Riot! @ The End Club, and Saturday nights at Match Bar Soho.
